I evacuated from Georgia due to a hurricane. On the day i was supposed to return home "GA" I became Ill to the point i was hospitalized for 8 days and a day before being intubated. After 2 hospital stays at Leconte my mother and i decided to drive over a hour to UT Er to try to find some relief after 3 months of being doubled over with abdominal pain. We owe it to God and Dr. Christy Lawson, along with her trauma surgical team, that my husbands life has been saved. He suffered severe abdominal trauma following impact from a motor vehicle coming through a window at a local insurance office where he was sitting inside.
