Can't wait to get out of here, if I had the money I would've broken my lease months ago. Gateway is such a poorly run building and I tell everyone that asks me to STAY AWAY. The building is poorly maintained, and elevators are always out of service (the main elevators were once out of service for almost 3 weeks straight. Absolutely insane). Fire alarms go off at all hours of the night and take forever to shut off. Roommate matching system is also abysmal. University Gateway (luxury not official USC housing) is the biggest scam around campus. They are slimy and pressure students to sign leases with ridiculous rental rates under the guise of being "in very high demand" which is untrue. Do not bother touring or engaging with them as even the other corporate landlords are less scummy (though individual landlords give a much better deal around USC anyway). The units are also not "luxurious" given the price...learn from others mistakes and don't get tricked by Gateway!
