Rude Employees- Tries to Take Advantage of Students- Does Not Respect Privacy. – I'm writing this review NOW so that hopefully someone who's thinking about leasing for next year will decide AGAINST University City Housing. This company is made up of mostly younger guys- I'd say 20s-30s which is cool- except they DO NOT know how to run a business. They treat their tenants as though they have no privacy. Look Elsewhere – Having lived in a UCH maintained building, you realize that the only upside to living there is the low rent. Otherwise, it is simply not worth the hassle. Lease agreement: When signing their lease agreements, you will be expected to move out 3 or 4 days before the end of you last month. What residents are expected to do/store their stuff, since most leases begin on the 1st of the month is beyond me. AVOID - rodents, no privacy, bad service – This place seemed nice at first, but things began to pile up after I'd lived there for a year. I decided to move b/c I'm moving in with my boyfriend, and UCH started coming into my apartment to show it to people without giving any advance notice. I was in the shower one day and they just came right on in. They come in whenever they feel like it and when I asked for them to give advance notice they told me that they were within their rights.
