The signs and text this place sends you are very misleading. It says you may be accompanied by one person 16 or older. So I brought my significant other seeing how this can be a VERY stressful situation to a lot of women. This was a very negative experience for me given that I have terrible anxiety and panic attacks. I had a panic attack when I was told that I couldn’t have anyone back with me and that there is no reason anyone would need to be back with me unless I had dementia, etc. I left feeling like I may never go back ... read more
I requested a specific day and time range for in office appt. Received a letter in the mail over a month later with my ASSIGNED appt. that met NONE of what I requested. Then was turned away by very rude and un-compassionate intake staff on mobile bus.
The appointment setter for the breast center was extremely rude, sarcastic, and dismissive. From the voicemail she left me to the call back, she was unprofessional and extremely insensitive. I wish I would’ve gotten her name but it was clearly an older woman. Not a good first impression at all.
Clean, nice, new equipment, super friendly people and so much easier than going to UTMC. Will definitely continue to schedule at this location in future.
