I have had nothing but great experiences with the doctors, lab specialists, nurses, and staff at Waukee MedMedical Center - Unity Point Clinic. My doctor listens well, shares her thoughts and always explains treatment options so I can understand the benefits & drawbacks of each. I am a participant in deciding next steps. The doctors & staff take a real interest and I don't feel like I'm part of a quota they have to make each day. I have recommended them to others several times & will continue to do so.
Having an appointment scheduled for my spouse at 3:20 and not being able to be seen since you guys closed is absolutely ridiculous. Being requested to take more time off of work a second time just to clean up a mess you created is inexcusable. Not only disrespectful to her, but also everyone else that had appointments that day. Seeing doctors walk out of the clinic while still having patients who were waiting for almost 2 hours is stupid. Was very pleased with staff and Doctor this was first time visit here. Very friendly and caring. No wait time got in right away.
I would say Dr. Meierding and nurse Hayley are the best and I always had the best experience with them. I had ultrasound today and I was very disappointed with Erin (Iowa Radiology) who was doing the ultrasound for us. She was very rude and unprofessional. She didn’t want to wait less than minute for my husband and another kid to come from restroom so they can see ultrasound from beginning. I am 38 weeks pregnant and she provided me the worst 3D/4D photos of my baby. Also she was rude to my toddler who didn’t make any mess. ... read more
I have an appointment for mammogram at 1.45 pm and show up 10 min early . As I am writing this review , 35 min later , they still didn’t call me … Disappointed
