Staff was incredibly helpful for our family! Even with multiple children we were seen quickly and attended to accordingly. The nurses and doctor went out of our way to treat us( one child was sick also but didn't have an appointment and luckily no other patients waiting). Tested and treated us all while being patient and understanding to our situation. Clean and welcoming faculty. Kids had crayons to color pictures even! Highly recommend and will return
DO NOT GO HERE. If I could put zero, I would. Melissa Cowey ARNP was the icing on the cake for Unity Point system as a whole. I will NEVER seek care here or Unity Point EVER again. I went in for a migraine that I had for over 12 hours. I take rescue medicine for migraines and I forgot it in my locker at work (it’s Friday, I cannot get back into work until Monday) I get migraines at times so I was grateful for the shot of Toradol and Zofran to at least bring it down from a 10. Went here on a Sunday evening. Doctor had a student with her, you’d think 2 opinions is better than one right? Went in because I knew my son had Croup. They told me he had an ear infection and his throat was swollen. I told them I know the cough for croup but that went in one ear and out the other. Prescribed him amoxicillin which I’d have to pick up the next morning. Next morning comes, my son’s croup is WORSE. Took him to the Iowa Clinic and the doctor said “ear infection? Absolutely horrible experience had a student try to look at me and my daughter with no service from a doctor while the doctor only looked at my wife and son. Gave us the run around for treatment and did nothing. Had to go to another clinic after 2 days of the household being sick to get treatment for exactly what I explained we had and were exposed to.
We had great experience at this clinic with all the staff. Jen the provider was exceptional with my care and the care of my six year old!
