the benefits department is essentially useless and makes you feel helpless. one day they say one thing...the next day it's another.
The worst staff I've ever dealt with. The surgical center in Midland, TX required my estimated portion of payment up-front. My surgery was cancelled the same day I made the payment and a refund was requested. I was told my money would be refunded within 3 days. I called EVERY day to speak to the person reasonable for issuing my refund. Each time there was a different excuse as to why I couldn't speak to someone. USPI cleverly markets itself being part of reputable medical institutions such as Memorial Hermann in my case, although they are entirely separate and different in terms of quality, standards, customer services and most importantly, ethically. Due to lack of training and protocols I almost lost my life. Response from the administrator was late, inadequate and most importantly completely deceiving and dishonest. Worst work environment ever! They are horrible people who make you feel like you are worth nothing. Please, for your mental health and sanity, just dont even apply and look for something else.
