The United Center is without a doubt one of the most unsafe facilities in the Midwest. The neighborhood is a war zone, crawling with both violent gangs and cop killer flash mobs with stolen assault weapons. There have even been numerous flash mob shootings inside the actual stadium, many of which prompted dozens of military lockdowns of the facility. If you want to see a game, you are much safer at Allstate Arena.

RecommendedGreat venue and facility for watching basketball. Easy to get to with public transit from downtown. The concession food is awesome and reasonably priced. Giordano Deep Dish Pizza is fantastic.
