We had a house built by United Bilt homes and it was THE WORST decision we ever made. The construction of the house was done by so many different people that were hired, it seemed, off the streets. It was ridiculous. The walls were curved out; we had to replace 3 windows, due to bad installation before the job was even completed; we had to replace one complete wall, due to VERY poor installation; the countertops are pieced together; the pantry has 3 shelves that looks like it was put together by a 10 year old; the house was ... read more
We have had difficulties with United-Bilt Homes returning phone calls. Even worse they were no call / no show on numerous occasions when they agreed to come onsite to address our concerns. We have filed a complaint with the Austin Texas Better Business Bureau without resolution. The ARC Fault Circuit Interrupters have tripped 90+ times in less than 6 months. We are told they are working as designed by United-Bilt Homes with the emphasis that they are safety devices and working as designed. The 15 amp AFCIs trip even when the... read more
