My name is Tammy Kirkham and I was referred to Kewonia Grimes at Unique and Elegant hair salon by a hair stylist from Granbury, Texas... I have to say that never in my 53 years of life have I had SO MANY people STOP me and tell me HOW MUCH THEY LOVE MY HAIR ... I would recommend her to anyone ... I know she now has a life time customer as for myself.... she is AMAZING ..... so for all your hair needs give her a call.... you WON'T BE disappointed.....
I was pleased with the effort put into my hair until I discovered a missing portion of my natural hair. My hair was under a net and the portion that was cut was tucked under. I don't feel it was done intentionally, I think it was an accident handled poorly. I'm not pleased with the response I got from the owner nor the lack of concern. I spent a total of 440.00$ and that's far too much money and time to invest if something like that can happen. My first experience there was wonderful. I can honestly the lady that did my hair was phenomenal. When I went back the second time she was gone. Ever since then I've still been going, but the service there sucks beyond all belief. Every hair appointment I had set for a certain time was never met at the specific time. I've been real patient, sometimes I'd even show up early to only be seen an hour later. They take forever to complete someone's hair. I love how my hair was done. I have really soft natural hair, so I really wanted someone who could press my hair without damaging it. When my appointment was done, my hair looked very healthy and had so much body. I will def. be back.
Overall, this salon is alright. The stylist do, do good work. I would say they are a little unprofessional. When I first walked in the first time, nobody greeted me and my family or said anything at all. Every stylist just stared me down. I went 2 more times after this and it was pretty much the same thing. They are very loud and gossip ALOT. The atmosphere is not the greatest. But again, they do a decent job on hair. Not the salon for us.
Life Savers!!!! I was able to get an appointment very fast which I desperately needed!!! Everyone was very friendly. The owner removed, washed and and re-sewn my weave better than my previous stylist did. I feel much better about the health of my hair and will continue to visit this salon as long as I'm a resident of Killeen Texas!
I would recommend this salon 100x's over. The stylists are great and very knowledgable about hair. When i moved to Fort Hood, a yr ago, i looked high and low for a good salon. I chose Unique & Elegant Hair (after much research) and im not making any plans to go anywhere else. Great salon, great ppl, great hair...you cant ask for more.
AMAZING!!!! I have been looking for a stylist to do my hair for years. I have never trusted anyone to do it right with an all natural, elegant and classy look. I got a relaxer, black rinse, extentions and a gorgeous style. I am beyond exited about my new look. When I arrived to Killeen (Fort Hood – I am an Army Wife) my first instinct was to find a hair stylist, and fast! I tried a few salons around town, but I just was not impressed! I had almost lost hope in finding a great salon/stylist in Killeen! I just accepted I would have to keep my hair in braids while my husband was at Fort Hood!
