Pure joy I loved the food and the staff it reflects all what Boston is about and we are lucky to have place like this in the city
It was amazing and the bartenders were also amazing.
Service is amazing. Staff super friendly and attentive. Probably the best oysters I've had.. The Chowda tastes so good didn't want to swallow. LOL......... The corn bread mmmmmmmmm..... Grilled oysters are amazing. And the garlic bread ..............yum. This will be a for sure will be a stop anytime I come to Boston.
We went there for lunch on Tuesday, March 28th. It was very nice. The waiter was so helpful and friendly. The food was delicious. I would highly recommend this place. Great place to celebrate.
Bartender was very friendly and professional, the food was great and the atmosphere full of history. Great place for visitors looking for some authentic Boston charm. Will be back :)
Never had so many oysters in one sitting.....love this place
Old restaurant with clear historical charm of old Boston. Like atmosphere. Raw oysters were fresh and chilled as good as I have had anywhere. Clam chowder was very good.
Delicious! Friendly, and worth the hype. It's nice to support a part of history. Thank you!
Pricey as others have mentioned (that's the only reason for not 5 stars). server was FAB! We asked her the "which is better" question for a couple of things - she didn't steer us wrong in anything! Food- oh so yummy... huge piece of swordfish, littlenecks with linguini (yummmy lots of garlic) fried clams (light and crisp). Cornbread refills happily provided. Not rushed at all..... just a really nice meal! ... then on to Mikes for cannoli!!
