We always have a great time at Uncle Ernie's! We came for a lunch date today and Sarah was amazing. Drinks were brought within a few minutes, she checked on us frequently (but not to much) and she was funny and polite. We will request her at our next visit! Thanks for good service!! (Which is hard to come by these days!)
Crab cakes were pathetic, and the shrimp that came with them were encrusted in salt. My recommendation is to forego the cutesy view and walk 100 yards due east and eat at Hunt's. After all, the reason we eat out is for the food, and Hunt's has them beat, hands down.
Good location for watching the sunset! Food was good but a bit pricey for us.
Food was fantastic, key lime pie was even better.
I've had their food before and it's really good however we went there on Mother's Day, made a reservation and when we showed up we still had to wait. The lady on the phone said that by making the reservation we would move to the top of the list when we showed up however this was not the case. Our names stayed at the bottom of the list for 45 minutes up until we decided to leave. As we were at the next restaurant getting our food we were notified our table was finally ready. Please accept our deepest apologies. Our procedure on holidays is to take what we call preferred seating, where, like you were told, you would be moved to the top of the wait list. This would still require a wait time, which I gathered you understood. As luck would have it, we had some technical difficulties with our iPad on the busiest day of the year. Have been twice and been very impressed both times. The food is on point, the portobello mushrooms were amazing!!!
Best seared tuna on the beach! The calamari was fresh and we had a great time while we were there.
Good food, good atmosphere, but watch out for those expensive drinks...ask before sipping, LOL �
We were here last night with some friends. The food and service were fabulous. I had filet mignon, one of the best ever. My husband had scallops which he also said were the best he has had. The entertainment was great and the atmosphere was awesome. We ate on the upper deck and got to see the beautiful sunset. I would highly recommend Uncle Ernies!
