We went for my birthday, we ate at one many years ago and our family loved it so much. When I found out it was one 90 miles from our home I wanted to go, of all the places I could have chosen. Our server, Donnette was awesome! The food was outstanding and to top it off, the servers came out sung happy birthday to me with one of my favorite things, a chocolate moon pie with a pink candle. Definitely not as good as the one I used to go to in Smyrna. Went there with a large group and it was quite a fiasco to get a table to seat us all. My wife and I are locals and we, along with my brother and sister-in-law were getting together a group of family members who'd traveled in from out of state, etc and they wouldn't let us have a large table until all of us got there. Was in Nashville to meet my son and return my grandchildren after having them for a month. Wanted to go somewhere special for lunch while we there before heading back home. Found Uncle Buds on Google and I have to say... I can't imagine a more memorable place to have gone. Everything about this place was great. Great food, atmosphere, and staff. Made us feel like we were longtime friends. I will never visit Nashville without stopping there to eat!!

Nice joint to get a simple meal that is simply delicious. We went for the all you can eat catfish. It's been 20+ years since we've had a meal at a place called Uncle Bud's. I'm not sure if it's the same owners, but the food was great back then as well. Our server was spot on, and I always appreciate when an establishment takes the time to cater to my son's food allergies. We didn't feel like a burden; we were treated like family. Highly recommended.
