The waitress was nice and attentive. The food was freshly prepared. I usually do not have any problems when I visit. Keep up the good work!
Always enjoy Uncle Buds but really disappointed in tonight's dinner. Got me and Madi a dinner to go and neither one of us eat fries so we got a gravy instead. They acted like they didn't want to substitute, maybe that's why it was cold gravy and the fish filets on mine and Madi's order was like eating dried out fish jerky. The hush puppies were great as usual.

I'm staying near by for a conference and when in a new area, I try to eat at local spots rather than chains. I read a bunch of reviews and this place sounded like some of the eateries I know of in NC and LA. I was greeted with a series of bright smiles from the staff when I walked in. Almost as soon as I was seated, Monica came over and laid the "fixins" on the table. First time my husband and I ate here. It was worth the drive from Monteagle. Will definitely be going back. Great food for great prices.

While It may be not hard to impress this New Yorker with southern cooking. The service and hospitality was of the charts! Great staff all around!
Excellent down home service at a reasonable price. Best Whole Catfish I have ever had at a restaurant. Senior discount, military discount, free food to veterans on Memorial and Veterans Day.
Great food and always great service from our server. My family and I have been wanting uncle buds since my kids came up from Mississippi. Yes we knew it was veterans day and yes we anticipated a wait, but when we went to check in the the host didn't want to be bothered with us. When he thought it was 2 it was ok. Once I said there were 5 he sighed and tried to tell me it would at least be an hour n half wait. I told him we will wait. 30 min later we were called to be seated .
