I'd never been in before... If you have a project... Starting here is a must! They have all kinds of materials and ideas.
The people here are fantastic--kind, prompt and helpful! I found a beam for our fireplace with far better selection in stock than local lumber companies have out-of-stock! I also found a treasure of a barn door. What a neat place to trigger creativity or support a current project. The possibilities are endless. Before you buy it at Home Depot or Lowe's, check here! More variety at a fraction of the price!
My husband and I just built a house and we're looking for a railroad tie. I googled repurposed something or other and uncle Benny's came up. We went and ended up spending hours combing through everything...almost every weekend for a month! Thank you!
I'm a DIY girl and always get a great deal for home and business. They have tons of stuff and you can easily wander for hours and still not see everything. They are always trying to make things easier and more organized for their guests to find needed items and tempt them with fun stuff you didn't realize you needed. Great place to get lost in. I spend hours there.
This place is a glorified junk yard with OUTRAGEOUS prices. You can go to Home Depot and buy brand new with cheaper prices. Some of the wood may be old and looks pretty but they price it to the point you can't even buy it. It's been sitting outside in nasty weather and they still want to charge an arm and leg. Ridiculous prices. Will never go back to this place.

Hmm, I understand more now. I thought I understood you were looking at 2x12 lumber, which is different than barnwood and different than old grey weathered lumber. We usually cut barnwood because it's more of a premium product. If it was just old lumber you were looking at and I was able to give you a number, we probably would have ended up around $10 with the cuts. I'm sorry if it seemed like an inconsistency in pricing.
