Front desk is very rude, I’ve been to this location recently two separate times and both people that have greeted me and my mother were very rude and just asked for ID and insurance no “hey” “welcome how are you nothing” when you don’t have the items they ask for they just interrupt you without knowledge of why we were even there. The front desk staff is consistently rude and lacks courtesy toward patients coming in for lab work. Privacy is not a priority, and the wait times are extremely long, despite staff being occupied with personal conversations on their cell phones. This location provides a poor experience.
This lab is in a building with over 16 offices. The lab does not keep a phlebotomist that can access port-a-cath. This is a disservice to those that cannot get normal sticks. This is not specific to the actual staff but UNC for not making sure that someone certified is always available. Otherwise, the front desk staff are professional and friendly and I would give them 5 stars!
My nurse was TOP NOTCH!!!!! I had her name listed but my iPhone changed it and now I can’t remember!! I wish everyone could have her take your blood she was the best! Thank you for having bedside style kindness and great energy!
