I feel fortunate enough that I had a pleasant experience at this OB office. I had my first Pap smear and they made me feel very comfortable and walked me through the entire process.

I was very disappointed with both the billing and overall experience. I have had the same procedure performed at another medical practice before but at UNC, however, I was surprised to see the procedure billed in a way that resulted in a much higher patient responsibility, leaving me with nearly $600 in charges. Despite obvious symptoms that warranted a deeper investigation, I felt that no one was interested in identifying the root cause of my condition. The most frustrating part was being bounced back and forth between specialists. The OB-GYN suggested I ask the dermatologist for certain treatments and testing, while the dermatologist suggested I follow up with the OB-GYN. I understood all the horrible reviews before I even stepped in the door. I’ve had an appointment scheduled for weeks. I woke up early since they told me to arrive 15 minutes before my appointment at 8 which they don’t even open until then. They call me at 7:30am to cancel my appointment. To me, that is absurd and unprofessional for a supposedly established practice. Don’t waste your time. Find somewhere else.
