I have been coming here for several years. However, after recently testing positive for latent TB, I scheduled an appointment with Dr. Rasmus. To my surprise, I received a call from her office informing me that I should seek treatment through the health department and that the doctor would not be seeing me. I found this response abrupt and very disappointing to decline to treat, especially coming from a healthcare provider at UNC Hospital. As a result, I have changed my primary care provider.
I would like to preface this by saying my in person experience was good. I was told by Dr. West she could refill my prescriptions as my new primary care doctor. Since then, I've had multiple issues with the prescription being written incorrectly, refills not being taken care of, and more. Over the past 2 weeks I have tried to contact them through phone calls and MyChart messagess, and my pharmacy has sent through 10+ requests for a medication I need.
