Umpqua Valley Funeral Directors was there for me and helped me during my time of need. David is a very good and caring gentleman. They took care of everything that could have been very complicated. I needed to take my deceased mom to another state for burial and David arranged everything and had all the paperwork ready and in order, with clear directions for me. Well while they were very nice and considerate we had a couple issues. One. spelled my husbands last name wrong which is weird cuz it's the same as his fathers.Second the date of his birth instead of March 17th they put the 12th. The 12th was his date of death which posed a headache when everyone wanted a copy of the death certificate and we had to put everything on hold until we got it straightened out. Just more headaches than anyone should have to deal with at this very emotional time.

David helped our family through the process of losing a loved one. When my grandfather passed they helped immensly with the arrangements. 6 months later I ran into David around town, and he took time to stop and ask me how things have been since and to ask how my grandmother was doing since. That kind of local touch means something. I will always highly recomend this business.
