If you want to be belittled, blamed and yelled at while you are in the midst of a massive migraine then he’s great! He does not listen, just wants to force you into an agreeing to try a product and gets mad when you say you would like time to research it first. I have very bad reactions to most medications, he tried to push me into a certain treatment , I asked what the side effects could be, he stated this medication has ZERO side effects. Dr. Ramirez is an excellent doctor. He has helped me get my life back. He communicates well with my other doctors, and with me. I trust him to give me the best combo of meds to relieve my migraines, new and old.
Exceptional Neurologist. Very attention to detail and goes in depth during a new patient review. Dr. Ramirez and his staff go above and beyond to help with whatever is needed. Would recommend to any person looking for a Neurologist.
Brought my daughter in for a New Patient appointment for migraines. He went above and beyond for her at (12) current age 15. The new patient appointment went in depth with history, tried and failed medications, and went over preventive options as well as abortive medications for her and ordered MRI. He discovered with the MRI that she had chronic migraines as well as brain cysts and got us right in for an appointment to go over the MRI and game plan from there. Staff was friendly, but can’t say the same for the doctor. Went in for a nerve conduction test which went smooth. When I started trying to talk about other symptoms I was having, he acted like he didn’t have time to even listen to me. My primary doctor referred me to him to be checked for MS. All he would tell me what that the tingling and numbness in my hands didn’t have to do with MS. Wouldn’t listen to my other symptoms or that I’ve been miserable from pain for months. Dr is very straight forward and I like that about him. He listens ans spends time to answer all my questions and concerns. Staff very helpful too. Nice new office.
I started seeing Dr. Ramirez 10 months ago and one of the first things that he told me that finding the right regimen for my migraines would be a work in progress. I knew that I was seeing the right doctor. We have tried several different treatment over the last several months and I am happy to say that I have gone from 20 migraines a month to 9 a month. Doctor Mark Ramirez is kind and compassionate. He took the time to listen and understand my health issues. He has used his knowledge and skill to help me have fewer miagrains. This has GREATLY improved the quality of my life. Now I have so many more days without miagrains, and am so thankful!
