Unprofessional conduct After nearly nine years, we moved out of this office following many problems similar to those already mentioned below. I was torn, but following a very unprofessional episode with Dr. Umlauf, felt that I had no choice. My children's health and well-being are the most important thing to me.
Great Doctor!!!!! Dr. Umlauf is a great doctor and a very intelligent person. Great practices are very hard to find!! Having a physician as a spouse you come to know a great doctor when you meet one. Dr. Umlauf is just that, a great physician. I believe that is why many fellow physicians send their children to her practice. Her staff is awesome as well.
Anyone but unlauf Dr. Umlauf has no respect to the parent. She is condesdending and full of herself. She is not the best doctor in the office. I often wonder if she is a parent herself? She should take a couple classes on professionalism, senesitivity, and narcissism.
GREAT DOCTOR AND STAFF I think Dr. Umlauf is a wonderful doctor. My son has been seeing her since he turned a year old - he is 9 years old now and my daughter has been seeing her since she was born - she is now 6 yrs old. I also adore Pam who has been there since i can remember. Everyone is so helpful and nice and I don't know what I would do without them! Very personable and very helpful I have never had a problem with getting return phonecalls with this office. I have 3 children and I've always gotten excellent care with all of the doctors that we've seen at this practice. I have to say that our favorite is Dr. Wilson. She's very friendly and personable - yet professional and helpful. Great doctor I'm a first time mom and I've been going to Umlauf since my son was born(he is 20 months). Dr. Umlauf is a very knowledgable doctor She is very foward and gets to the point. I can see how someone may feel uncomftorable at first though.
Wonderful Doctor I can't say enough good things about Dr. Umlauf and her staff. She is great with my daughter and has great bedside manner. I am a FTM mom and have called her office a ton and I always get a returned a call in a prompt manner either from her or her staff. I can get an appointment with ease and without having to answer a ton of questions. Also Dr. Wilson is just as wonderful!!!
Not recommended I really enjoyed having Dr. Wilson as a doctor. She could probably teach Dr. Umlauf some good social skills. Dr.Umlauf made me feel very uneasy and uncomfortable when she answered my questions. She talked down to me instead of trying to work with me since I am a first time mom. I am a teacher and if I talked to a parent the way Dr.Umlauf talked to me I'd be out of a job! On the other hand, Dr.Wilson was wonderful and really seemed to take her time with me. Great practice I happened to carefully interview pediatricians for my youngest daughter and came to the decision that Dr. Umlauf was best suited for the job. She is a very caring doctor and her one nurse, Pam has been there since my daughter's been born.
