If you are claustrophobic, please for your sake do not get an mri at the UMASS Belmont Street location. I have had many mri's although not into them i manage. This location is dark. The room looks the size of a closet and the machine is so small. When I say small I mean they should only use it for children. The opening and length are small. I could feel my breath hitting the machine. I had to push all the way to the right for it to get my shoulder. I don’t know why I keep thinking that it’s going to be different when I come here, but every time it never fails. Why do you schedule appointments if you aren’t considerate of appointment times? I’m not sure why I’m always ending up having to walk out because my appointments always severely behind. Unacceptable as somebody that also works in healthcare
The ultrasound scheduling team is trash. I haven't had issues with any other department. I've been seeing them throughout my pregnancy but the ultrasound scheduling team refuses to call me to schedule appointments. When I asked about it, they said they have so few slots open that the patient doesn't get a choice. So they schedule appointments for me and I get a MyChart notification. But I don't get the notifications every time either so I have to hope I see the notification or go through my MyChart to find the appointments. ... read more
