I would rate the Sports Clinic 5 stars but my initial visit and follow up were with Nurse Practitioner Sarah Wascavage...She ordered the MRI and didn't take the time to read the full report, why did I have to tell her that I have a full thickness ACL tear??? Because she only scanned the report 5 minutes before my appointment...Then she tells me that the damage to my knee which had bone chips and a shredded meniscus along with the ACL tear will never heal basically without surgery....but she recommended Physical Therapy??? Dr Rufo is excellent, she has helped tremendously with a chronic injury that was not getting better before seeing her. She has a great touch and her injections seem to always get to the right spot for pain relief. She is willing to explore and explain different options and answer questions. Nurse Beth is great, too. I highly recommend traveling to the Clinton Hospital Sports Medicine Center, so much easier than the Worcester location. I have to travel another 15 minutes further to get there but it is a much better environmen... read more
