Had my first visit with Dr Mazin and it will be my last. I read his clinical notes from the visit in my chart. He apparently didn't listen to a word I said to him, and lied about which tests he performed. Cancelled my next appointment with him and will never go to the UMASS Memorial Spine Center again. Update:They collected my copay at time of visit, now they are billing me for the copay again. Avoid this place at all costs. Scheduler/Administrative: I have been a patient of Dr Mazin's for close to a decade. I have zero issues with Dr Mazin but scheduling an appointment has become a crap show, another story all together. I have been calling and leaving my number daily for the last week expecting a return call that has never come. I've spoken with my pcp office at Reliant but they have also struck out. The worst. Was yelled at for asking a question after injection. Should have known that when his staff would not booked an appointment for me in the beginning. Wait months for an appointment to setup injection. I was told the person got fired. Then after an injection, and getting yelled at, was supposed to have an ablation but they never followed up and could never contact the office. Just go out of business already. My dr said he will never recommend him to another person and never let a dr talk to you in this manner.
