I was transferred into the ER then hospitalized for heart failure. Everyone there was very friendly and with the help of Dr.Andress and his team, I am on my way to recovery.
The secretary was pleasant and polite. The lady checking on the medical equipment was pleasant but unhelpful. She wouldn't or couldn't answer questions about its operation or status. She scanned it and made appointments for doing the next updates from home and office.
They did not contact me for 4weeks after heart monitor was turned in. I also needed to have surgery and they did not forward info tho my surgeon and by the time they did it was too late and the surgery which was supposed to relieve me from excruciating back pain now had to be pushed back for 3 weeks. The people at umass are wonderful but the administration dosent allow them to run efficiently. I will never go to any umass facility ever again.
Had a wonderful nurse named Allison she was there for me all the time
