I was brought to Umass by my daughter I had signs of a stroke I was sent to a floor where every person was wonderful I even met my fiancé during that visit I must say it was a very good experience for both of us
They saved my life. I'm eternally grateful to these angels!

My son split his head open and was left bleeding in the waiting room for 3hours. When I asked for something to stop the bleeding I was pushed aside and ignored. Meanwhile my 11year old bleeds all over the waiting room that I haven't seen cleaned this whole time!
I went to this umass emergency department a few weeks ago for my 11 month old daughter who fell and hit her head. I was overall not impressed with the staff what so ever... The girls at check in were just plain rude and inconsiderate. When i finally got to see a nurse/ doctor, i expected more from them. All they did was feel her head.. they didn't check other areas of her body to make sure she didn't hurt herself anywhere else.
