RecommendedMy mom was hospitalized with COVID-19 complications at Memorial campus. The staff were fantastic, as always. Great communication, reassurance when I needed it, and wonderful professional care. Nurses Ron and Lexi, and Dr Trish Seymour were beyond great (can’t remember the name of the other hospital yet but he was great too). Thank you all for making this awful time a little less scary.

At this very moment newborn sitting in er for going on 3 hours while her exhausted mother tries to comfort her and her father is being harassed (saw it myself on video) in the waiting room not allowed in with his sick newborn baby. Baby hasn’t eaten in hours and is clearly in pain - Dr has not even been in to check on them - 3 hrs!!! Newborn!!!!

RecommendedWhy does the DCU center have stricter guidelines than our Hospital??? N95 or PAPR for every DCU caregiver.... we are out of PAPRs and fitted N95 masks at UMASS.... We were told standard masks are fine for Covid positive pt exposure- unless dealing with a ventilator- hmmmm is this where all the donated items from so many generous people and companies went?? Feeling disappointed and confused why we UMASS would be ok with this- these patients were discharged from hospital but not quite able to go home- correct- why would UMASS ... read more
