Angry and rude secretaries! As a type one diabetic of past 29 years and long time patient of Umass, I should not have to call Umass diabetes angry secretaries multiple times just to get my dr to prescribe my insulin, but that is, in fact, what happens every single time I call to fill or refill or change anything. Just a massive runaround and frustration! Should be called umass diabetes center of delusional folks who think they’re excellent!

Been going here since I was 16 years old on and off. I will be 53 in August. Have always had Dr Michael Thompson who is so intelligent on type 1 and all it's problems that may come along the way. But he is also compassionate and empathetic. I have also use NP Ana who is just like Dr Thompson and they communicate between each other. The office staff for the most part are great too especially Liz and Paula. The only issue I had recently was I had a person not know what an insulin pump is.
