This doctor was very dismissive, and offered no help at all. I got a thorough review once I got there but was sent packing. I have asked several times about what to do next, with zero response. I have been totally ghosted by this group. The whole experience has been very disappointing.
I initially met with Dr. Jurkunas in Dec 2023 for a LASIK eval. While the wait time was long, which is expected, the appointment went very well. She met me with a handshake and eye contact, something I don’t always see from doctors, and made sure there was time to answer all of my questions. I felt completely comfortable. Last week, she performed my LASIK surgery and everything went swimmingly! Would definitely recommend her

I already knew Dr. Jurkunas was a top doctor in her field. I learned she is also patient and did not make me feel rushed. She allowed me to ask as many questions as I had, and involved me in making decisions about my care. I made a long drive to see her, and I am happy that I did!

Very skilled doctor who acts as if it’s an imposition to look you in the eye and talk to you. She types into the computer, makes some vague comment, and practically runs out of the room. After driving a long way for an appointment, I expect a few bits of information. It’s hard to be treated so disrespectfully.
Dr. Jurkunas performed cataract surgery and a cornea transplant on me. The procedure was done at Mass Eye and Ear. The service was outstanding and Dr. Jurkunas was professional, on time and caring. Follow up contact was wonderful, as is the result of the surgery. Five star gold rating. And a sincere thank you!
EXCELLENT
Dr. Jurkunas took me as a patient a few years ago, when I needed a partial cornea transplant, a surgery many don't do. After an appointment or 2, I quickly felt I was in the care of someone I could trust, and who knew how to care for my complicated eye issues. Went for a follow-up visit. Waited 1 hour 20 mins and doctor was not at location yet. After waiting an hr in the exam room, I asked staff what the issue was. They told me doctor would be in the office in 20 mins. Waited 20 more mins, no doctor. I was referred to Dr. J from my primary eye doctor, after complications from cataract surgery.
