Before my last appointment I was seen by Nicole Miller, Dr Tracy’s PA. She was extremely easy to talk with and gave me some great suggestions which have really helped me since.

My mother passed away on the 26 of this month from covid. The nurses and doctors in the micu did everything possible to give her a chance to live. In the end it was not enough. The virus was stronger and even though she battled bravely the virus got her in the end. Special thank you to dr barber and his team of nurses Jeff, Kelly, Jen, Matt, Tina, Riley and another special thank you to Andrew for being such an understanding, compassionate person when I finally understood, that she wasn’t going to make it. I find it disgusting, an obscenity of the cruelest kind, that you would send me a letter threatening to forward my outstanding bill of $63.54 to a collection agency at this time. After years of struggling to pay off an enormous bill - which I did pay off -you turn around and begin once more the process of a legalized shakedown. I’ll pay the bill. In the meantime the person responsible for that bullying, indifferent letter should be dismissed.

I have had many experiences at this hospital and every one has been amazing. Most recently, my mother had a stroke. The doctors and nurses were amazing in her final days. Everything was explained in detail and all options were given to us. After her passing, we were allowed to stay with her until we felt comfortable leaving. They were respectful of our wishes and so gentle with my mother. They truly care about their patients.
