6 hours in the ER to be treated. This is ridiculous. Been here since 9:00 AM and still here. Poor guy sitting here with a napkin on his mouth, bleeding, and he has been here since 9 and has not been seen yet. Go to Mercy Hospital!!!!!

Do NOT go here for hospital level mental health care. The doctors lack empathy and do not consider patients concerns or opinions on their care... ESPECIALLY on the Crisis Stabilization Unit. They are disrespectful, rude, and resistant. And when they decide something they DO NOT LISTEN to the concern of the patient it pertains to, they argue and ignore. Avoid this place if possible... psych residents don’t care about issues regarding concerns to the crisis unit either and they will send you their anyway. Go somewhere else you... read more

RecommendedYes I like the University Hospitals for their excellent doctors and surgeons. But I was sadly disappointed with the care that my adult son recently received. My son fell from a roof some 20+ feet and was AirCared to the U if I trauma unit. I think everything initially went well but no one cleaned him up (he arrived at about 3:30 pm) at all and I can tell you they were not hard pressed in the way of help on hand.
