Beware of UHealth Tower Physical Therapy not disclosing their billing practices and charging riduculous rates without your knowledge. There is no transparency and it feels predatory. UHealth Tower Physical Therapy billed me $636 for a 45 minute physical therapy session. Feels criminal. This also seems similar to the $22 mil settlement UHealth paid to the DOJ for Medically Unnecessary Laboratory Tests and Fraudulent Billing Practices. Shame on University of Miami.

This was one of the worst medical experiences I’ve had. My first appointment was supposedly scheduled for 4:40 PM, but when I arrived they told me it was actually at 2:30 PM. No prior notice, no explanation. They then rescheduled me for Monday the 12th at 3:40 PM, saying they would wait until 4:20 PM. I arrived by car at exactly 4:00 PM, and at that moment I was told the appointment had been canceled because they “don’t wait after 4:00 PM”.
