Their doctors are always late. Even if you schedule the earliest appointment for a day, they ask you to arrive 30 minutes prior to the appointment, but the doctors arrive 15-40 minutes after the appointment time. I have been visiting uhealth for years and they never had any appointment on time. They overbook and rush you out of the office as soon as they can get rid of you. I've never experienced a doctors visit like this, and I mean that in the best way possible. The office is beautiful and spacious. Check in is a digital process which I've never had, but it was easy enough. Everything was right on time and there was no lengthy wait at any point. I saw Dr Stephanie Lay. Her medical assistant was able to set my mind at ease and was a pleasant lead up to meeting Dr Lay. This was my first visit. From the moment that I walked in, to the moment that I left, I had an amazing experience. The greeter was super friendly and welcoming. He assisted me with the check in machine. He let me know that there is a complimentary coffee station. I waited for about five minutes. Calvin, the assistant, was equally as friendly. Dr. Kirsner was friendly, knowledgeable, easy to talk to, and answered all of my questions. He did not rush through my appointment. I had nothing but a 5 star experience!
I called UHealth to confirm my new PCP took my insurance after giving them all the information they scheduled me for two months away for being a first time patient. When I got to my appptmt. I was told that my insurance was not accepted and that the call center does not know or check and only the local office knows this. I was sent away to start the search for a new doctor after wasting two months. To add insult to injury I just received a letter chastising me for missing my appointment.
