It has almost been 14 years since my son was in UCSF. He came down with a horrible viral infection at 6 weeks olds that almost took his life. After weeks and weeks of testing, that is what it was narrowed down to. Dr. Kelly called him his mystery, miracle baby. UCSF pediatrics saved his life. They never gave up hope and were relentless until they found what was causing him to be sick. Nurse Karen and Evalyn, on 6 Long, were his favorites.
