Dr. Posselt and the transplant team saved my daughter's life on her 4th birthday, and every nurse, doctor and person that helped us along the way. UCSF is the only hospital that was able to perform this surgery. 7 hospitals over the course of 11 months. The only other hospital is the Masonic Children's hospital in Minnesota at the time. My daughter Lorelei Batty is 2nd in the world to have this procedure at her age. Today she is a normal, beautiful, full of energy little 6 year old.. No more pancreatitis.
