I explained that i use cannabis, tylenol and ibuprofen to treat my spinal stenosis. I explained that i want to use less cannabis and find other ways to manage my pain. Doctor told me there was nothing he can or will do for me. He suggested i go to rehab for 6 months to quit the cannabis.
Even if the provider is good, the staff, scheduling, and overall experience with UCSD is terribly awful!! To only name a few: - Despite all patient rights and what they mention on their own website, if you need an interpreter, they don't provide video visits to you. - The provider ordered 2 type of massages for me: one of them gave me an appointment for 5 months later and for the other one after 2 weeks and 4 calls to different departments for them to finally get the referral to the right place, I received a message in the p... read more
I received exceptional care and low back injections that gave me great temporary relief prior to my surgery.
Even if the doctors are good for diagnostics, a LOT of damage is done by assistants who chart things wrong and a wildly incompetent front desk. Why is the resident calling me too to ask how to do their job when confronting insurance?
The concept of customer service here is right up there with the IRS, American Airlines, and other organizations that don't give a damn!
