Extremely Disappointing Experience! I had one of the most distressing and unacceptable experiences at this emergency facility. Despite being in significant pain, I was left waiting in the lobby for over five hours without any meaningful attention or compassion. Unless you arrive by ambulance or are visibly incapacitated, expect to be ignored while suffering. Great communication and skill. Love it!
I was admitted with a brain aneurysm, and had the best Dr. Steinberg perform the surgery. All the nurses were exceptional. I can't say enough about the care and treatment I received at UCSD Hillcrest. I am now at 95% recovery, along with now outpatient PT for leg strength. Great experience.
