Caring and Personable Neurosurgeon Dr. Levy is a kind and caring neurosurgeon. Dr. Levy performed brain aneurysm coiling and stenting on my brain. Dr. Levy made sure that all my questions were answered and he provided great support before, during, and after surgery. Thanks to the success of my surgical procedure I am able to enjoy a full life and see my children grow and develop. I am grateful to God for placing Dr. Levy during this difficult time of my life.
A Blessing Dr. Levy is an outstanding surgeon and human being. He performed brain surgery on me with excellent results, and then consulted when my newborn had the same condition as me. He is well-respected by his colleagues in the field, and he is rare (as both a surgeon and generally) in that he seeks to respect the whole person. I cannot recommend him more.
DAVID RUGELY Dr. Levy is highly technically knowledgable about his work, and has helped me tremendously, He put a wingspan stent in my basilar artery 4 years ago, and since then I have been getting on with my life. Satisfactory The service here is adequate. Unfortunately, many of the workers here are rude, especially the people in charge of parking. It is also difficult to get around as there is a lot of security, although it does makes it safe to be there. Another downside is the atmosphere seems rather depressing for the most part, but that probably goes for any public hospital. The doctors do do their job well though.
Like a hotel! UCSD Thornton Hospital is one of the nicest hospitals around!! The rooms are spacious and are decorated like hotel rooms. The staff is friendly and caring and usually you can get into the ER to see a doctor pretty quickly. There is a cafeteria that serves okay food. I would recommend getting the deal which is a sandwich and a side and a drink for $5.81. The grill is the safest bet. Overall, this place is nice and the staff is very helpful
Fastest Service EVER This hospital is so efficient, it's almost unbelieveable. You can go in for the first time, have no ID card with them and they can make you one on the spot and have you in an out in less than an hour. Even if you need bloodwork!
