The doctors Ive dealt with are nice in neuro ophthalmology no complaints there, though the wait times are typically pretty long so make sure to add a lot of buffer time to your office visits. My biggest issue lately and why they only get 2 stars is because I've been trying to reach someone in my doctors office for over a week now about just getting a new prescription for my glasses, I've spoken to multiple operators after spending way too much time on hold and leaving messages and they have not called me back as requested. The doctors here are simply the best. 10 stars for them and quality of care. The issue is that my eye injections went from an outrageous $13,000 a month to $25,557.00. I have received no answer to why this outrageous increase. Bottom line is I can't afford to go anymore. On top of the UCLA prices my insurance premiums are $4,000 a month with high payouts to boot. Our retirement fund has been deleted in order to get eye care. Can get on Medicaid because that has been shut down. I will accept that in the short future I'll be t... read more

Who are the idiots running the Stein Eye Institute? No one has returned our multiple calls and messages left for over THREE WEEKS! And whomever does respond, keeps sending irrelevant links that STILL don't allow an appointment to be made after requiring a plethora of personal information (another example in the response below).
