UCLA is not upfront with their billing and processing. They dishonestly charge insurance - and they fraudulently charged mine when I said I would be a CASH paying patient. The appointments are not easy to access - but the whole system is dishonest. There was ZERO bedside manner or compassionate from Dr. Robert Roman and he just made me feel horrible during the appointment. He gave off such an arrogant and condescending tone. He was the only MD available and I cannot imagine moving forward with him or their practice.

I am deeply disappointed with the UCLA Menopause Specialist department. After being referred by my gynecologist months ago, I have been waiting over three months just to receive a phone call to schedule an appointment. I am giving them a two stars instead of five stars because they can’t solve the problem I’ve down there. I was hoping they can solve my problem but unfortunately they can’t. Overall everyone is so kind and friendly.

I am not understanding all the negative review. I have had nothing but amazing service at this clinic. The front staff is kind and welcoming. Apart from my first visit where I wasn’t offered anesthesia it has been nothing but a great experience to me (or at least as good as it gets giving the circumstances) The nurses are always great and so are the technicians. I think if you come with a great attitude you’ll get that back in return. I haven’t always had a good day and I just communicate that and I feel like they adapt well... read more

We are new to the Los Angeles area and just two weeks after we moved in, I found out I was pregnant. A doctor in this practice was highly recommended to me by a few moms in the area so I immediately called and made an appointment for my first ultrasound. This is my second child but my first pregnancy in California. State to stay there a few differences in how early they want to see you and when I asked a question about that, the person booking my appointment scoffed like I had just asked the dumbest question in the world. Ho... read more
