Location is awesome for visiting a student, but our room had little ants everywhere.
Great location if you're at UCLA for a while. Not flash, but comfortable rooms and breakfast included.
We stayed at the UCLA Inn for two weeks this summer while my two sons attended a summer program at UCLA. There is a very nice breakfast every morning with fresh fruit, yogurt, Danish, bagels, cream cheese, smoked salmon, deli meats, cheese, etc. Hot coffee, tea, and hot chocolate are available all day which is also very nice. Stay here while participating in a conference at the Labor Center across the street so it's extremely convenient and there is ample parking for hotel guests adjacent to the hotel. They also provide free breakfast (hot & continental) to guests which is a nice touch. Its on campus but basically in West Los Angeles/Beverly Hills so depending on your purpose, location could be a plus or minus.
