I will give this place two stars because the staff was very nice! But, shame on UCI. No good deed goes unpunished. I decided to donate blood on my day off and I booked an appointment online which was easy enough. The instructions on where to park were long and overly complicated. I let the front desk people know that I needed to be accommodated for parking. But, I accidentally parked in the wrong stall because I did not see the part where it said ‘park in an unmarked spot’ and all the spots looked the same. After donating bl... read more
The staff here are so nice and welcoming!
This place is a great option for those who want to donate near UCI. The staff are amazing people and care a lot about what they are doing. As a first time donor who is scared of needles they made the experience seamless and explained the process every step of the way. They do have snacks, drinks, and gift cards ($5-10) or Dominoes pizza as incentives. Don’t forget that one donation can save up to three lives as well. Rude lady on the phone clearly responded with an attitude. I called to ask if they accepted plasma donations or if it was selling only because this location pops up online for that. Not everyone who wants to donate plasma is trying to sell it... I was kindly trying to donate. For anyone wondering, no they do not take plasma.
