Used to think this was one of the best hospitals to be treated at...they have increased the amount they are billing for tests, procedures, and visits! A visit to the ER where I was stuck in a curtain with no privacy between me and other patients with NO monitoring at all was apparently a Level 5 (HIGH) visit. I have good insurance and will still spend over $1000 out of pocket. Beware of the billing that occurs because you have insurance that will pay...chances are they are coding for everything that they can to get the most ... read more
Our stay here has been good. I think the doctors really want to help and resolve the health issues which brought a person here. The nurses are very professional and don’t seem to get attached, CNA, Aides, same. In all the staff are competent and try to make a person who is ill comfortable.
They are wonderful! They treated me so wonderful. And did a a great job of taking care of me. My surgery was a great success. There attention to me and my needs was the best I've had out of a hospital in years. They all were so nice and thoughtful towards me and my Mom while she waited. Thank you for the wonderful care! Makes all the difference!
I’m just very curious as to why you would schedule an insane amount of follow up visits with an insane amount of different Doctors that don’t provide any treatment, just ask how I’m doing and send me away with more follow up appointments and then actually become frustrated with me when I purpose that I will contact them if I need. Btw... if it was up to you guys, I’d still be in a wheelchair.
Dr. Bishop and UC Health took excellent care of my son during knee surgery. They were gracious and accommodating to me while I was there during the surgery. The facility is spotless. The procedure proceeded on time. The cafeteria serves an good, healthy meal for a reasonable price.
