they are unbelievably and unreasonably priced! especially for the Emergency Rooms. I went into a UCHealth ER after I failed to find an urgent care for a simple Sinus Infection causing pain in my teeth. I talked to the doc for ten minutes, I felt very uncomfortable with all the nurses surrounding the room as if I was about to be interrogated! The kindest souls have been taking care of my Mother during our extended stay at UCHealth in the Neurology Unit. I can't say I have a single complaint.
My husband was there for a huge surgery. He had gallbladder cancer. He had his gallbladder, bile ducts, lymph nodes, and 2/3 of his liver removed. He had the best, most humble doctor (Dr. Schulick). Excellant doctor and an excellent team!!
The orthopedic floor here has the most amazing staff for spine surgery and recovery! They have made my stay here a comfortable and dignified stay. From the cleaning staff to the surgeons that i came in contact with are the most caring and professional individuals. I would most definitely recommend this facility to anyone that needs this kind of care. Thanks to the nurses and aids that worked directly with me. Your help has encouraged me to be strong

I recently spent two weeks in the Burn Center ICU for third degree burns on my hands and arms. The staff at UCHealth were beyond amazing. To my doctors, thank you for putting my mind at ease with the mindful care and personal attention. To the nursing staff in the burn center, I will forever be grateful for all of you. Surgery in January that was literally one for the books. Never been done before. Today I was discharged from an unrelated surgery. I received outstanding care. Can't praise the UCHealth University of Colorado Hospital. From the cleaning staff with their pleasant attitude to the knowledgable skilled surgeons this is a world class hospital. Thank you!
This facility charges 10 times that of a private practice! I made the mistake of going here for an eye exam that would have cost me no more than $200-$250 cash at a private practice, but at UC Health I was changed almost $2000. After insurance discounts my total was still over $1000. Stay away from this facility, even with insurance you will be severely overcharged for any services.
