Just gave birth to my babygirl there over the weekend. The midwives and nurses all were amazing. Especially Cory and Chuchay! Definitely made my days there so much better.
I've bern a patient for years and have had good experiences with the staff and facilities. I am however having trouble with getting ahold of my surgeon's on call resident. I have left several messages and haven't heard back from a provider. I understand that it's not an emergency, but I would like a return call. I messaged the surgeon using the MYUCH phone app, I understand that he won't get back to me till next week.
Oxycodone for a headache? Oxycodone for an upset stomach? Really? With nurses coming in literally saying "magic pill", I can see how this hospital is doing it's part to contribute to the opioid crisis our nation faces. I have encountered some of the most professional nurses and doctors here who have worked diligently to diagnose and treat a particular patient; However, I am not pleased with how easily the highly addictive pain medication is offered. Especially, after prior dependency was disclosed.
The parking and transportation situation at this facility is horrible. The navigation around the facility is equally horrendous. For the life of me, I cannot figure out why the engineers who built this campus did not factor in that patients, visitors and employees would need to park a vehicle to utilize the services here.
I had my son at 33 weeks back in February of 2014....I appreciate all the care that NICU provided to him...I will be forever grateful!God Bless you all 🎄Happy Holidays 🎄
