Dr Uchal did an emergency procedure removing a lapband that was put in several years ago by a different Physician. Dr Uchal did an excellent job I had minimal pain after leaving the hospital. I took pain medicine only once after leaving the hospital. Dr Uchal also performed a sleeve on me 9 months after removing the lap band and again it was a wonderful experience. My experience with Dr. Uchal was incredible. From the first appointment to the actual surgery I was listened to, my concerns were addressed and I felt like I was in great, capable hands. My surgery went amazing, I had clear and realistic expectations thanks to Dr. Uchal's communication. From my consult to the follow up appointment I always felt confident that Dr. Uchal had my best interest in mind. My incisions healed beautifully and the scars are barely noticeable.
He came highly recommended and I recommended him highly after my experience.
I walked with a cane for 3 years before Dr. Uchal performed surgery. After surgery I no longer walk with a cane and my back is getting stronger. Now I can walk my dog to the corner and back. That requires 250 steps. The office staff is always professional and friendly.

I had a very difficult surgery, a very large hiatal hernia. My diaphragm on the left side was damaged and had to be rebuilt with mesh.My entire stomach, my pancreas and several loops of my colon were up in my chest, restricting my left lung.Dr. Uchal was able to perform this difficult surgery without having to open me up.Two weeks out and I feel great!He is a great surgeon.Thank you so much Dr. Uchal!!
