No stars, but it made me leave one. My daughter saw Dr. Ian Grover because she was having severe cramping, vomiting, and pain. She was given intravenous hydration, tested for multiple STIs and sent home even though she told Dr. Grover that she was concerned about her appendix. He diagnosed her appendix as fine. Later that same day, she drove to another Urgent Care in La Jolla. She was almost immediately diagnosed with a ruptured appendix and set up to transfer to the hospital for an appendectomy. My husband has pancreatic cancer. This hospital been the best to take care my husband. Thank all nurses and doctors .
Went to UCSD urgent care La Jolla for acid reflux. An Indian doctor prescribed a medication made up of tiny particles that had to be taken with apple juice, even though he knew I had blood sugar issue and was careful on diet. It costs $132 for a heartburn medication, and it was manufactured by an Indian pharmaceutical company. I had to throw away this oddly formulated medication. I wonder why that doctor prescribed a medication that was not covered by insurance.
I'm still sitting in the lobby, waiting for an appointment that had to be OVER ONE HOUR ago! I am PREGNANT, I am DISABLE. I make an appointment for a reason. The best that your team could do is AT LEAST contact the patients and let them know about the delay and offer to reschedule, so people don't waste time here, potentially getting sick from other patients! You pay for the pleasure of waiting. I have been waiting for over an hour and a half and still have not been seen. The front of office not friendly or helpful at all.
