I specifically called and asked how much it would cost for a physical and the receptionist said $20, which is my copay. I asked her twice, if she was sure. She said yes, I would only be billed for my copay. Waited twenty minutes for a coughing, sniffling nurse to enter, tell me to turn over, and send me on my way within eight minutes. I was subsequently charged $340. This place is a mosquito and likes to suck poor people dry. Very dishonest!
As soon as we landed for vacation, I knew my son was sick. We ended up going to two different urgent cares bc we were all sick - I’m only writing the this review bc UCSD Health was SOOO incredible they deserve the feedback. The facilities were so clean, kid-friendly, and safe. The staff were extremely professional and compassionate. 10/10 will return if we need to if we visited again, although - I hope we don’t have to! My husband took our other kids to a nearby park to play at.
Simple in and out. Got the referral I needed for sleep Apnea.
Don't just walk in. Call and get and appointment. I got there at about 10am but they couldn't get me an appointment until 1:15. When I got there at 1:15 all was fine and they were able to see me on schedule. Another word of advice is to get them to write down any over the counter meds they want you to take. They seem to want to send it to your pharmacy but that may not be where you want to get them and you may want to decide for you self what brand and package to get.
Took 2 of my kids for sports physicals. They were able to get us as walk ins in to be seen within 20 minutes of arrival. Super clean facility, easy access and parking. Great medical and support staff. The waiting area and patient rooms were comfortable. The patient rooms were big enough for me all three of us to be in there easily and still allow the nurses and doctors to see the patient and walk around. I can't recommend this express care enough it was great.
