Always friendly & fast.
After flying in from Minnesota, I developed severe muscle spasms in my neck. Went to UCSD urgent care, was able to get right in and reception, nurse and doctor were very attentive and took care of me right away. 5 star experience and saved our vacation.
PA Kerri Thompson is extremely rude and should not be in her position. Lied blatantly in after clinic notes including how I complied with what she was saying (i was not), and refused to offer any sort of guidance or explanation as to why she wouldn’t help prescribe what I needed. Never had this problem anywhere else
Came here today while traveling and from out of town. The woman at the front desk told me they couldn’t see me for 3hrs because they’re so busy. I’ve been sitting in the waiting room for an hour and not one patient has come in. Then I was told I need to leave so they could have lunch at noon. It was only 11:30 at the time. They shouldn’t call this urgent care… they should call this “we don’t care” lol
Our family has used the UCSD Express Care downtown location for several years now, and we truly cannot say enough good things about this team. They have been a saving grace for us more times than we can count — on weekends, weekdays, and moments when we really needed timely, reliable care without going to the hospital.
