If I could give 0 stars I would. I booked with this location based off of my Anthem Blue Cross pricing through the website. The only reason as to why I chose this specific location was because it was the least expensive option to set up a physical and ask a few simple questions regarding my health. Online the pricing was 200 dollars and my final bill came out to 650. Not to mention that I was forgotten in the waiting room for 45 minutes waiting to see my PA. Dr Jia Shen and staff were attentive, responsive and professional. I felt heard for the first time in a very long time and have some optimism about treatments that will address my issues.
Nice UCSD health care facility.
Have PPO United healthcare & recently moved to SD. Was excessively overcharged for 1st visit to establish service. They billed my insurance 2x!!! One paid by my insurance and the 2nd one they are trying to collect from me. Worst, had same appt as hubby’s and they are charging him same amt for shared appt!!! $559 to see a dr is crazy expensive! Never in my life paid that much w/ insurance. Went to a different dr, $0 pmt like my previous dr.
Kinda disorganized due to construction. There is no self parking so you are on your own to find it. Street parking is a pain and the nearest parking area is a couple of blocks away. Recommend if this your first time coming here make sure you have the direct number to the office you are visiting. Otherwise you will reach the call center and be transferred numerous times and never reach your doctor. Aside from that good luck
