Some of the staff working there are terrible people who are disrespectful, rude, and unkind. They are biased and discriminatory in the favor of their employees against their patients. I am a patient at CARE and they have made me feel very uncomfortable. When I called about my experience they hung up the phone on me.They care more about their employees by defending them when they behave poorly. There is no accountability for the bad behavior of some of their employees.
I was sent here by accident when trying to a family member to do ECT. The staff helped direct me to the other UC San Diego Health facility and was really friendly and helpful.
